1. Plate & Frame Type Dialyser for Caustic Soda Recovery
Recoveries of Caustic soda from heal lye coming from steeping presses and containing hemi cellulose.
>>> Performance :
- Concentration of alkaline lye (heel lye) – 16 – 18 % NaOH.
- Purity of alkaline lye: 2 -3.5% Hemi Cellulese.
- Required % of recovery: 90 - 95 %.
- Concentration of recovred solution: 9% NaOH.
- Purity of recovered solution : 0.01 - 0.2 Hemi cellilose.
- Capacity : Recovery Caustic 2.2 ltr / minute
>>> Scope of Supply :
- 121 Nos. frames, fabricated from flats and rods, 60 Nos. for Caustic and 61 Nos. for water.
- Cast iron stand, head plate, follower plate, Rollers, Bracket for rollers and Return block.
- Cast iron Pinion, Handle wheel, Bearing housing and Bushed plummer block.
- Neoprene / Nature Rubber gaskets 122 Nos.
- Dialyser should be fitted with M.S.Screws, Tie rods, Specer rods and Side bars.
- The top of Dialyser will be fitted with Acrylic Beckers, Burrets, Valves & ' C' class pipes.
>>> Painting :
- The Dialyer frames should be sand /shot blasted and then given two coats of epoxy paint, suitable for withstanding alkaline solution of 20% concentration.
- All the cast iron parts should be given one coat of primer and two coats of shop paint.
2. Bag Filters (Solution Filter)
- For Soft Water : MOC.S.S.304
- For Soap Solution : MOC . S.S. 304
- For Sodium Sulphite Solution : MOC .S.S. 316
>>> Duty :
- Filtration of soft water at ambient temp. at about 7 to 7.3 PH and 2 to 3 hardness (CaCO3).
- Sodium Sulphite Solutaion – Temp. 70 ºC, Specific Gravity – 1 to 1.05
- Soap solution –Temp. 45 ºC.
>>> Performance :
- The filter has effective filtration area of 16 sq.meters approx.
- Flow rate – 50-55 M3/ Hour.
- Normal operating pressure – 1.5 to 2 kg/cm2.
- Normal pressure drop – 0.2 kg/cm2.
